07:56 AM ET 01.20 | As it turns out, Nick Saban knows how to throw a party. [He has] some moves, too. With several top prospects on campus for a big recruiting weekend in Tuscaloosa, visual evidence of Nick Saban's dance moves -- in this case, the electric slide -- appeared on Twitter, courtesy of a Vine from Rashaan Evans' younger brother, Alex. ... There was also singing, as new Crimson Tide offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin reportedly did a karaoke duet of "Sweet Home Alabama" with running back commit Bo Scarbrough's mother, Donetris. "I think if you're new there, you have to do karaoke," Ms. Scarbrough told 247Sports. "It's kind of the theme with the new coaches. Everyone has to do a karaoke night. It was his turn and he kept on hiding. He told me, 'I think I'll go on ahead and do it, if you sing with me.'"

.....satan should just stick with his scary man persona....not try too hard to relate to the kids....its unbecoming....

January 20, 2014  08:34 AM ET

Oh those crazy Katzenjammer Kids.....

Personally, I am glad I did not have to suffer seeing or hearing either one of these events.

Still can't believe Saban hired Kiffin.

No kidding! Lane-O The Clown brought his entire circus act to Bama, and now Saban has joined in. What the Fjj is going on in Tuscaloosa?!

Desperate, indeed!

I can't wait for this disaster...

I don't think so, GR. Hiring Lane-O was not an accident, and Saban is not only tolerating his antics, but is now joining in. Something stupid is brewing in Bammer-land. This could be fun...unless you're a Bammer...

It is massively perplexing, no doubt about it. Time will tell.

Wow. I agree with a Nole. But for real, I think Saban might be slipping into insanity. First he hires Cristobal, then a 2-game losing streak, then Kiffin, now this.

Les Miles is starting to look boring.

Wait... Aren't you a Boomer Sooner?

If any of you have read the 'Left Behind' books, then you should realize that Lucifer's Vessel needs someone to head up his "church." Lane is a fallen man of frustrated ambitions.* He is ripe for induction and an eternity in the lake of fire. Besides, he could turn out to be a serviceable OC while learning his new duties as the chief believer and proselytizer for LV.

*Witness his [Wuss] reluctance to perform the karaoke expected of all new hires without the support of the strong voiced Mrs. Scarbrough.

Yes but I actually have all of my own teeth, tie my own shoes and none of my family is inbred.
That makes me smert!!! :-)

Saban is concerned about the new offensive waive that is currently happening. He's not comfortable with something as wacky as a Mike Leach prototype but wants something a little more "open" so he hopes for the 2004-05 USC type offense. Thus Kiff-o-rama. JMO.

Who gave you permission to post somewhat insightful analysis?

Saban does the electric slide ...
Kiffin sings karaoke ...
Bagmen handed out door prizes ...

It must have been a great party.

I'm ninja'd on this, but what the hey.

Only if you are a Pitt Panther football player or fan!
