03:56 PM ET 01.22 | While we still have two weeks until the Super Bowl, the game is going to be the talk of the sports world in the meantime. But this year's game is being especially talked up, thanks to Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman. His post-game rant with Erin Andrews is still being discussed by fans and even political pundits, but one guy you won't hear much out of on the matter is Denver Broncos tight end Julius Thomas. Thomas was asked abut Sherman and the way he likes to talk a big game, and the tight end responded saying Sherman's game is big, so the talk makes sense. Sherman has been silent in the trash talk department leading up to the Super Bowl so far. He'll likely start trying to get into the heads of Broncos receivers on media day, but Sherman is still busy apologizing for taking the spotlight away from his teammates in the NFC Championship game.

to quote Barry Sanders " Act like you have done this before" I hope Manning picks Dick Sherman apart, then we will see a real sportstman.

If that bad boy Hank Aaron likes him, so do I.

passion doesn't always fly. during the season Dez Bryant was ripped apart for showing passion on the sidelines, trying to fire up the team, which is nearly impossible for that band of misfits, but I digress here. eh!

Welker will "rub" route him into the dirt. Sherman gonna bleed.

Seriously, I kinda like Sherman. Amusing the reaction he got for his rant. People must not know what the word "thug" actually means.

I think its okay if white dudes show passion. If a black man does it, it is considered "thugish".

Like Sherman said....Thug is an acceptable way to call a black man the N word.

You just describe "every" player in the NFL.

January 23, 2014  02:54 PM ET

Hey Sherm, who not publish a book of words that remind you of the N word so us white guys can avoid them. I could of sworn that the private schools I attended, the word 'thug' never had a thing to do with the N word. The N word had something to do with the N word.

Havent heard of many "Thugs" graduating from Stanford with a 4.0 .. I guess none of us have talked trash while playing competitve sports. Imagine if cameras where on most of us growing up playing sandlot football.. We would all be thugs.
