02:53 PM ET 01.23 | New York Islanders defenseman Lubomir Visnovsky has been skating in his return from a concussion, and he has hopes that he will be able to suit up for a game before the NHL takes a brief break next month during the Olympics. Visnovsky was selected to play for Team Slovakia in the Sochi Games, but it looks like his team will try to make sure that doesn't happen. The 37-year-old Visnovsky is one of just 14 players who have played this season that were born in Slovakia, so losing him would be an obvious blow to the team's roster.

You sure about that number? Or is it just 14 in the NHL?

Jamacia had only 4 bobsledders and they got in.

Yup, it looked like he was going to be great player - but then reality happened. He does seem to play better internationally than domestically - but that is a European scourge that doesn't apply to a very precious few - I guess you either like busting your hump, and doing your best all the time, or ya don't. Guys like Frolik, Forsberg, Lindstrom, sand both Steens seem all the more amazing for it, though. Slovaks need everyone on deck alright - but they'll still be there at the end.
