07:39 AM ET 01.24 | Down the stretch they come. Alabama's coaching staff continues to make its best recruiting push for the state's top prospect, Auburn High School linebacker Rashaan Evans, as Nick Saban and Kirby Smart visited the star recruit and his family at their home on Thursday night. "It was a really great visit, as we expected," said Evans' father, Alan Evans. "I feel like we really got a lot accomplished. Coach Saban went into a lot of detail about their plans for Rashaan." ... The visit was Saban's last chance to meet with Evans and his family before National Signing Day, though Smart plans to visit one last time next Saturday following Evans' trip to UCLA. "I think we feel good about Alabama at this point and we feel like we have a great understanding of everything they have to offer."

This just reinforces the whole problem with recruiting by all schools. You have professional recruiters and coaches with well scripted selling pitches on one side and some 18 year old kid with his parents ( if they are both even in the same State ) on the other side.

I would really enjoy being a fly on the wall listening to what Alabama "has to offer"!

If the kid is smart, he will look long and hard at CNS's offer. His chances of being a 1st round NFL pick are much higher, he will be pushed to obtain his degree, and he can be part of a championship. Not sure CGM can deliver any of that.

Getting picked up by the Gus Bus, eh? And he doesn't have to pay the fare to ride, in fact the opposite will be what happens.

Plus if he goes to the Gumps..

He can get free suits from T-Town Menswear for draft night

Not saying you are wrong, but CGM delivered an SEC title last season, and was much closer to the MNC than CNS was.
