Sabres likely to trade Ryan Miller?

10:15 AM ET 01.26 | Ryan Miller's days in Buffalo are likely numbered. While Sabres general manager Tim Murray is still trying to get the lay of land after taking over the post earlier this month, the whispers are getting louder that Miller won't be sticking around after the trade deadline and there's a school of thought he could be gone before the Olympic break. The number of teams in the market for a goalie is limited though, which means Murray may not have many options. The St. Louis Blues have been mentioned, but GM Doug Armstrong has emphatically backed goalie Jaroslav Halak.

The Blues want him and if they get him look out.

I can see Halak and someone else for Miller - probably Morrow, and it could possibly trigger something even bigger - deadline is Mar 5? but no dealings can be consummated during the O-lays.

Sabres beat the Jackets 5-2 on Saturday in Columbus! Call off the trade rumours, Sabres are back! (Just kidding.)

What do the Blues want with a washed up has been? He couldda been somewhere that matters if it wasn't for his stubbornness in clinging to that NTC like a tick to a hound's butt.

Bad year to be dangling a goalie. Not any teams out there that you can say are a goalie away from a Cup run.

That's a stupid trade whoever is involved. This team just got in place and goaltending hasn't been an issue with a team at the top! Halak and Elliot are entitled to bad games here and there and this is a team sport.....which is why Miller wants out.

He wrecked the dressing room with his Im so smart carp, and then blows up at his team for not getting mad when he didn't get out of the way(Lucic) of a player skating on a part of ice Miller shouldn't have been.

Sabres were never the same after that....it was the last straw. I don't care if Miller ever plays again, and Americas hope should stay where he is and work with the team he helped build.

Vanek wanted out, and there is a team that shouldn't have been struggling so bad, but when you mess with chemistry(something most GM's know nothing about) it all comes down!

Trade him to Florida! Him and Miller can be Florida's new hope.....again......and again....or Edmonton, and we can see what he's really worth!
