07:40 AM ET 01.28 | Off the field, Kansas football picked up a couple of wins on Monday. De'Andre Mann, a 5-foot-10, 205-pound running back from Hartnell C.C. in Salinas, Calif., orally committed to the KU football team on Monday night, JayhawkSlant.com reported. Mann is the top-rated juco back in the nation according to JCGridiron.com. A Rivals.com three-star back, Mann chose KU over other finalist Georgia State and also had an earlier offer from Miami (Fla.). ... Later Monday night, KU also received an oral commitment from Anthony Olobia, a 6-foot-5, 230-pound defensive end from Arizona Western C.C. in Yuma, Ariz. Olobia, who was rated the second-best weakside defensive end by JCGridiron.com, also took official visits to Texas Tech and Auburn.
