02:32 PM ET 01.29 | One of the most popular players in recent years for the Green Bay Packers has been fullback John Kuhn. He's a fan favorite in Green Bay and he also happens to be productive when the team needs it most. All of that hasn't helped contract talks progress between the two sides, which is leading many to believe that the Packers could let their fullback walk in free agency. According to ESPN.com, a decision on his future may be coming soon. If Kuhn is let go, he'll likely find work very fast, as he was excellent in pass protection for the Packers in 2013 and is a name many teams around the league are familiar with.

The guy was born to play football, why would they let him go?

he was excellent in pass protection for the Packers in 2013. So now the Packers have no need for excellent pass protection? Sign the guy ASAP

A team that properly utilizes the fullback position would grab this dude in a nanosecond if he were available.

Unless his demands are utterly outrageous, I can't see GB letting him loose.

I hope the Packers also let, Raji, Shields, Kuhn, Jones and a few other walk too because NFL quality football players they ain't. There is a sh_tload of guys they could get rid of. No team in the NFL has more holes to fill then they do. This is an 8-8 team at best.

Fullback, really. Most teams don't have fullbacks except for blocking for the weakest O line on the planet. Let him go. I hear mc and dons is hiring.
