07:07 AM ET 01.30 | Here we go again, and this feud has grown more personal. "I can't make a man respect me, but I will stop him from disrespecting me -- I tell you that," Sapp told Newsday on Wednesday night, launching the latest verbal salvo in a war of words with Michael Strahan that has lasted over a decade. Sapp took issue with Strahan's comments Tuesday in which the former Giants defensive end suggested Sapp was being a "coward" for telling Newsday -- rather than Strahan directly -- that he questioned Strahan's Hall of Fame credentials. ... "It was about his resume; I wasn't talking about the man. But the sheep and the lion and all that? I don't understand. He still can't rush that right end. Three years, 12 sacks!" Sapp was referring to Strahan's first three seasons in the NFL.

Someone needs to tell this guy NOBODY respects him! But that probably still won't shut him up.

Maybe the Original Boys in the Hood will silence him...?who knows

I bet Aaron Hernandez still has some contacts out there.

Sapp is enjoying the media attention.
Hopefully, this may be the last we hear from him for years to come.

Oh I'm scared! LoL

Sapp should at least try to act like a Hall of Famer!!!!, His problem is nothing compared to what Babe Ruth must have felt!!!!

It's hard to be something you're not! How he got in ahead of Haley is baffling to say the least! I hope that gets rectified Saturday.

Sapp need to shut up! Sapp played defensive tackle not defensive end, let his big **** move to the end and see how many sacks and tackles he would have. Strahan is a solid player and his record show that, he also won a couple of super bowls; does Sapp have that on his resume? I never had so much disrepect for Sapp until now; you're not better than Strahan, Strahan deserves to be in the Hall on first ballot.

Are you crazy?

Sapp played interior line and still had 96.5 career sacks. Do you understand how much more difficult it is to rush the passer from defensive tackle position?

Must be in the water with those south florida guys, they love to hear themselves talk and be the loudest in the room. I must admit it was amusing at times.

Thug-Daddy War-Sapp should just shut his mouth.

Strahan is currently 5th on the all time sack leader list. Explain the other 140.5 He was a run stopper too. Sapp is envious, Strahan is making big bucks, has a big time show and is well liked. Sapp is the poster boy for bad decisions away from the football field. Strahan will get in the HOF or not based on his record. As it should be.

Unfortunately there are times when the voters have their own agenda, not just in football, but baseball as well and it doesn't work out that way.

Sapp needs a slap!

Right now as I type, Strahan has his boys on his show in front of a national audience, each sharing sharing their favorite superbowl moment. Right now, Sapp is looking at a mirror sharing his favorite super bowl moments with all those interested. Warren, you're such a winner.

The more Sapp speaks the more it sounds like he's picked up his coke habit again.... Get it together bro...

Was he double teamed?

A pass rushing defense tackle? More often than not.

That Tampa 2 defense didn't blitz much. It was all about the four man pass rush. The offensive line could double-team one of the defensive lineman most plays, usually that lineman was Warren Sapp.
