07:12 AM ET 01.30 | Seahawks star cornerback Richard Sherman continued to heap praise on Peyton Manning and the Broncos' offense Wednesday, but he was also standing his ground when it came to critical comments he made about Manning four weeks ago. When asked about the Broncos' receivers, Sherman said, "I think they've got a very strong receiving corps," then complimented Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and Eric Decker individually. ... Sherman may or may not be matched up with Thomas. It sounds like that will be up to the Broncos. "Whoever lines up on the left. Whoever lines up on my side is who I'll match up with," Sherman said. "That's all it really comes down to." Sherman said that he has already played Sunday's game several times in his head.

Where is he "daring" Manning? I love "journalism".

Be careful for what you wish for Mr. Sherman.

January 30, 2014  07:59 AM ET

Hey Sherm, Careful what you wish for..............

January 30, 2014  08:11 AM ET

Manning is a throwing fool, count on it!!!!!

January 30, 2014  08:13 AM ET

If the Hawks win the game on Sunday will Andrews be off limits to interview Sherman after the game?

January 30, 2014  08:37 AM ET

Whatever.

This guy's 15 minutes of fame was manufactured in cheesy fashion 2 weeks ago and the media has been riding it because there is nothing else to report.

Boring.

January 30, 2014  08:44 AM ET

I don't see him daring Peyton...all I see is a guy saying he'll cover whoever is on his side...typical hype journalism

Has Thug-Daddy R-Sherm also planned out his next post-game tirade?

Exactly! Prime example of why Lynch stays away from these guys.

Denver has five receivers who caught 10 TDs or more. Seattle has the best secondary, IMO, since the 80's Niners. Great matchup, and ought to make for a fantastic game.

That being said, where in the article is he "daring" Manning to do anything?
