03:12 PM ET 01.30 | Since leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Anthony "Rumble" Johnson has gone on a tear in the light heavyweight and heavyweight divisions. Johnson has had fights at both weight classes, but his focus has been at 205 pounds and his last outing was one of the most impressive. On Jan. 18, Johnson scored a devastating first-round knockout over Mike Kyle, in the final fight of his contract with World Series of Fighting. Now that Johnson is a free agent, many had been wondering whether or not the UFC would give him another look and president Dana White said today during a media event for UFC 169 that the organization was interested.

this guy has been a beast when he can make weight in whatever division he fights. I thought the ufc dropped him because he failed to make weight a couple times but no doubt I think he's a legit contender at light heavy.
