09:31 AM ET 02.01 | Reports surfacing Wednesday in The Globe and Mail and Thursday in the Toronto Star suggest that the Jays could be considering a run at free agent starter A.J. Burnett, now that he's believed to be available. It's believed that Burnett would prefer to pitch closer to his Maryland home, but -- unlike previous reports -- he is believed to have softened on his desire to pitch only for the Pirates.

He's "softened" on pitching for the Pirates. Huge paychecks will often change peoples minds like that. Seriously though, I was glad the Pirates had him, but I think they have a couple young arms that might come close to replacing him. If only he could have beat the Cards in St. Louis . . . . . . .

Ha! Atro is really in your head. You've got it bad and he owns you. I hope the real Atro remembers to claim you on his taxes this year.

Jesus man. If you had ignored the ball busting or just had taken it for what it was, you wouldn't be wearing an Atro mask making odd comments.

Yep. Instead of just rolling with the punches, he allowed himself to become Atro's prison bride.

That can't be it because I'm already wearing that. It is Saturday, after all.

Why would the Jays sign Burnett? He didn't exactly do well there the first time.
