08:55 AM ET 02.02 | Kyrie Irving is close to firing his agent, Jeff Wechsler, according to a league source. We hear part of the reason Irving is seeking a new rep is that he intends on leaving the Cavs, while Wechsler wants him to stay. As we reported at the start of the season, Irving wants to come back home to the New York area -- he's from West Orange, N.J. -- and play for the Knicks.

Irving is a spoiled, immature brat who has quit on his team to force a trade...........

But it's his agent's fault ???

He hasn't even got his team to .500 basketball yet. He's no Lebron.

This confirms he's leaving. What a shame for Cleveland fans. The fans of this generation in Cleveland will forever distrust the nba after this.

Thank Goodness Milwaukee is in the Central or things would be really bad in Cleveland.

Cavs fans don't deserve this.

I'm with ya man. Cleveland has great fans and this is gonna scar them an entire generation in that town. Not as deep as lebrons leaving did, but in some ways it's reopening that same wound of rejection with those fans.

No fans deserve it. That's why I think it's ok for fans to jump ship and cheer on a team they respect. This is why some fans stop tuning in any more. Overpaid spoiled kids that won't work to build something while collecting millions and the adoration of fans.

Yup! Always blame the agent! He is playing lousy because of the agent. Even Lin is better than this kid as a leader.

Maybe Kyrie should leave for Wall Street?
