10:02 AM ET 02.02 | Forget the final shot. Forget the wild celebration. Forget, just for a second, Arizona's first loss of the season that unfolded here Saturday night. The bigger story walked out of the visitors' locker room on crutches, his right foot in a protective boot. The fear: Sophomore forward Brandon Ashley, a significant part of UA's success, is lost for the season with a broken foot. Coach Sean Miller didn't definitely rule out the 6-foot-8 sophomore forward, but he didn't sound encouraged at having him anytime soon. "It looks to be broken," Miller said after California's 60-58 win over the top-ranked Wildcats. "I don't think we can say that it is right now just because we have to get the X-Rays, but it's certainly an injury that will have him out for a period of time, if not for the entire year."

Tough break for Ashley. It'll be interesting to see how 'Zona adjusts without him.

"Forget the final shot. Forget the wild celebration. Forget, just for a second, Arizona's first loss of the season that unfolded here Saturday night. The bigger story walked out of the visitors' locker room on crutches, his right foot in a protective boot." That would be right for the Arizona Republic. But the real story is CAL WINS!
