09:01 AM ET 02.02 | The Browns discovered that Kyle Shanahan did quite a bit, especially in his second season with the Texans. That was 2009, when Matt Schaub had his best pro season at quarterback. His record was 9-7 with a 98.6 rating, 29 touchdowns compared to 15 interceptions. shanahan wasn't the only reason for Schaub's success, but he called the plays and was a factor. Shanahan left after the 2009 season to join his father Mike Shanahan, who became the head coach in Washington. The Browns believe Shanahan had a very positive impact on Schaub.

Knowing the history of the Browns, their next move just might be to trade for Schaub. Does the owner of the Browns run a pharmaceutical company that specializes in anti-depressants?

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Never mind

The Browns only discover new ways to circle the bowl.

Did you hear about the guy who went to a fight and a hockey game broke out?

There is only one problem with the story, the Browns do not have anyone close to Schaub on their roster at the QB position for him to work with.

Keep Hoyer upright, and they might.

Boy, you had to use Marty McFly's time machine to go back and find that one.

Yea, like that hasn't had enough media flogging yet. Two weeks is just way to much time to give the American media on any subject.

There's something in the air in Cleveland, could it be Lombardi's rotten socks?

February 2, 2014  10:17 AM ET

So what. The Browns could be sold on pretty much anything as long as it's a bad idea.

Kyle Shanacrap has no business even being in the NFL. Total mishire of a terrible unqualified coach. Mike Lombardi is a disgrace.

So you don't like the guy.

February 2, 2014  11:08 AM ET

After the crappy couple of years Schaub just had, maybe Lombardi is on to something.

Yep, that sounds about right.
