07:23 AM ET 02.03 | For the Clippers, Hedo Turkoglu has been added largely for his veteran leadership. But experience would mean little if he was incapable contributing on the court. Through 10 games in L.A., Turkoglu, despite missing first two and a half months of this season and most of 2012-13, has looked the part. ... [Blake Griffin] said he believes Turkoglu will be a "big factor" for the Clippers down the road. He showed glimpses of that already. Against Utah on Saturday, Turkoglu scored six points with five assists and four rebounds in 13 minutes. In the second quarter, when the Clippers were in desperate need of offense, he knocked down a jumper a step inside the 3-point line, hit an off balance runner in the lane and flipped in a layup around Utah rookie Rudy Gobert. The scoring is somewhat of a bonus.

Expectations Are Low, Bro.

Given his age I don't think he can sustain this level of productivity. This is fool's gold. If any team picks him up next season they'll get his true value.

Turkoglu better than advertised

Yeah, but for how long?

He11.....if they're only gonna play him 12-15 minutes a game, there's no reason what-so-ever why he can't "sustain this level of productivity".

BTW....and in case you haven't noticed, he about 7 months younger than Paul Pierce, 1 1/2 years younger than Kobe and about 3 1/2 years younger than Ray Allen.

And he's got a lot fewer miles on his legs than any of them, as well.

Jus' sayin'.......

I think the Clippers draw the best out of the role players... Its easy to go unnoticed on a team with Griffin, Paul, Crawford and Jordan...

I see the Clips crashing and burning especially if there is any long term damage to CP3. Nice to think positive, but then there's the eventual reality check that bring things into focus!
