07:24 AM ET 02.04 | For Carlos Boozer, it's not exactly about the quantity of minutes, but the quality. [Boozer] voiced his frustration Monday about his lack of playing time in the fourth quarter for the Chicago Bulls. The veteran power forward has not played in the fourth quarter in the past two games and is clearly bothered by what he perceives as a lack of opportunity from coach Tom Thibodeau. "I think I should be out there," said Boozer, who is in the midst of his worst season as a Bull. "But it's [Thibodeau's] choice. He makes the decisions out there, so I play. I don't coach. He coaches. So he decides that. But honestly, he's been doing that a lot since I've been here, not putting me in in the fourth quarter. Sometimes we win; more times than not, we don't. But that's his choice."

Carlos is about to get axed by summer. He has no say even though he didn't say anything bad.

Booz is a defensive liability......that's why he doesn't play much down the stretch.

Want more time in the final 12? Try playing some hard core defense in the first 36!

Dude you know damn well why you sit in the fourth, you don't D up. Doesn't do a team that struggles to score much good when the PF on the other team gets to just have his way.

Boozer is one of the last 2 guys eligible for amnesty. It's looking like it could actually happen this summer if Thibs can't even use him late in games.

CB, the truth of the matter is that you're not the same player your were a few years ago, hell, who is. Face it, you on the downside of the slide and it's time to think about packing it in. Can't be about the money, you don't seem like the type that would blow yours, so what is it. You're not in the running to win a Championship either, so again what is it. Put your ego on the shelf and go home and enjoy life with the wife and kids. A basketball player is what you do for a living not who you are. You will be fondly remembered. Don't make them have to cut the jersey off of you!

But the defense isn't the problem in Chicago. They horrible on offense which last I checked he was good on offense. That is why you put a defensive minded big bevy to him on the floor. Noah our Gibson. Their offense is just as horrendous as his defense.

Well.....Thibs, since his arrival to Chicago, has never used Booz much in the 4th quarter of close games.

MMmmmm......I'm gonna disagree with you on this one.

Why? Because Booz is pretty god-awful on defense, where-as Noah and Gibson have the ability and desire to crash the offensive boards and keep possessions alive for the Bulls.

Thibs will kiss his **** and play him more, you know they value Boozer!

Boozer has never been a dependable player on the bulls. Or @ all. I'd rather c taj gibson in the 4th.
