Can Rams fans keep the team?

07:30 AM ET 02.05 | Rams fans with a lower boiling point may see Stan Kroenke merely as making a land deal, but, of course, it's complicated. The only thing that is simple about what he does is that the end game to every contest he gets involved in is the same: Find the best deal for Stan Kroenke. So what does this latest ploy really mean? In Los Angeles, they're taking it as a sign of good fortune. ... I know it might seem counterintuitive, but the best weapon you can wield against Kroenke to prevent him from leaving is to buy his tickets. Fill the stadium every Sunday. Show NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell that this organization is "well-supported and financially successful and is expected to remain so." The Rams' annual home attendance has dropped steadily since 2006.

The city of St. Louis will not build a new stadium for the greedy owner, because if any of you have been there to the Dome you could not ask for a better place to see a game or probably a concert. I am old enough to remember when the Rams did play in the Coliseum with all of those empty seats in LA and owner Georgia Frontiere move the team to St. Louis for greener pastures back then.

It seems Rams attendance eventually drops off no matter where they play.

I don't think the dome is the issue. It's an attendance problem.

How bout dem Cowboys!?

How many more chance will L.A. have to get yet another NFL team? So far the Chargers, Raiders & Rams have called L.A. home at one time & left. Are L.A. football just fair weather fans & will only support a winning team year in & year out?

As bad as the Lakers are gonna be for a few years, the fans will yearn for a football team.

with everything, there are exceptions. If not for the stadium itself they wouldn't still be bringing in the crowds like they have with so many years of failure.

they will slip to less than mediocre next season.

February 5, 2014  10:06 AM ET

I hope they do move back to LA. The Lakers need a diversion.
