Leafs center on the block

07:55 AM ET 02.05 | Soon enough, the Maple Leafs will determine the future of Dave Bolland and whether it's in Toronto or elsewhere. Certainly, we'll know before the NHL trade deadline on March 5. Bolland has been out since Nov. 2 when he suffered a lacerated tendon in his ankle against the Vancouver Canucks, and after the Toronto Sun caught up with him following the morning skate on Tuesday, Bolland answered "probably not" when he was asked whether he might play before the Olympic break. ... The Leafs and Bolland have not delved into contract talks. There has been no decision to shop Bolland before the trade deadline, but it could become an option if it's clear there will not be a happy union going forward between Bolland and the Leafs. Management knows it might have to go that way.

This might be the dumbest article the Sun has ever written.

That'd be quite an achievement.

I concur and it's hard to believe there's somebody worse than Simmons. :(

Perhaps a few other Leafs should be "on the block".......

Sun and dumb are synonymous, aren't they??

They should all be on the block after last night here in sunny Florida!

"Leaf Nation" was rather quiet last night in "Pantherland"!

GO CATS!

The fathers trip is the worst bonding exercise on the planet. As if they weren't all out on South Beach until 4 am the night before getting bombed. Exact same thing happened last year.

They were out golfing before the game.

Documented locally. We all know what happens when you golf in the heat....

But ... if the story is remotely true, the Hawks will welcome him home for the playoffs again.

I think he snapped after somebody offered him a free, one year subscription to the Toronto Sun. :-)
