07:24 AM ET 02.06 | This offseason, according to Pete Carroll, is not about need for the Seahawks, but there will be decisions -- most notably with Golden Tate and Michael Bennett. "I want to be back here 100 percent. I love the team, I love my teammates," Bennett said. ... "I know we can go back and win a Super Bowl again with all these guys. It's a business, but I definitely want to be back." Martellus Bennett, Michael's brother who is a tight end for the Chicago Bears, has made it known he'd love a family reunion in Chicago, but Michael Bennett said that won't be a big factor in his decision. "That doesn't matter much," he said. "I know he wants me to come out there and get a chance to play with him, but I'm definitely a Seahawk and I definitely want to be here for the rest of my career."

Michael would be smart to stay away from his toxic brother.

Deep down I bet Martellus wishes he were a Seahawk.

He's really not smart enough to figure it out Bishop.

I wonder if Peyton does.

Smart kid, who would want to play for the Bears

I'm sure Peyton wishes he were younger.

Chicago can't afford him anyway

February 6, 2014  09:27 AM ET

Seahawks? Or Bears?

Pretty easy choice.

Get another Ring if you can!

What nonsense. Almost every free agent says the same thing. And then negotiations start. Translation is that if Seattle meets or at least comes close to his demands, he will stay. If not, see ya and it's been great.

The Seahawks won't sign all their free agents.

So do I.

Hey interns, you have the wrong Michael Bennett tagged. I'm sure THAT Michael Bennett would run to Chicago or Seattle.

Some very creative contract writing if they do. A year from now it gets really dicey.

Doubtful. The Bears' offense was second best in the league last year. I bet he would like a ring, however.

I get what you're saying, 50, but if you'd seen him at the parade here yesterday, and the way he was like a kid with his teammates and the fans, you might just believe him. These guys really want to stay together. Looking at the chemistry they have and the joy they get from Pete's fun practice routine, it's not hard to see why. Where else can they have that much fun playing in the NFL? And then there's lure of the region. I'd want to retire here, too. (Oh wait, I did.)

Final year for Wilson and Sherman on their rookie deals.
