07:44 AM ET 02.06 | With the help of his star goaltender pulling him in to it, new Sabres GM Tim Murray has a pressing personnel matter on his hands. But his phone is apparently ringing with trade offers. A lot of them. And he's listening. In the wake of Ryan Miller's comments [Tuesday] that he's still waiting on a definitive stance from the organization, Murray pretty much confirmed that he's in limbo on dealing Miller as well. "His status at this point is that he's a Buffalo Sabre," Murray said today in his weekly appearance on WGR Radio. "I've had talks with a couple of teams. They've showed some interest. They haven't done anything yet to change that scenario. Talks are going on for a lot of players. There's a lot of ideas being thrown about here the last few days. As of right now, nothing has changed with Ryan."

I bet the phone is ringing off the hook for PP specialist John Scott.

Danny, are you saying PP is Pugilistically Proficient?

I get the sense from fans on hockeybuzz that all of their bigger named players are going to fetch them at least a first and a prospect. The only one I would consider doing that for is miller, and thats even a stretch because in my opinion he is on the downslope, but he is the biggest name out there so thats a plus. Moulson will get you a good prospect but I doubt a 1st rounder, he was clearly a beneficiary of tavares in long island. Finally, I think you should be thrilled if ott lands you a 2nd, he is a 3rd line player on any playoff team.

Amazingly , going into the evening yesterday Miller was sporting a .923 save percentage. Thats bloody amazing ! Goals against mean jack all on a crap Team, save% tells everything. If this guy could manage his mouth as well as he does a crease he could right his own ticket.

Well put.

I was stunned to see his SP before the Pens game last night. The guy made some great saves during the game too. Fluery pulled a couple out of his arse, but I'm not ready to believe he's back into his old form.

If Fleury really is back , and i am kinda starting to think he is , Team Canada is gonna wish they took him to Sochi.

Gawd, he looks like Bulldog Brower (not to be confused with Dirty Dusty Rhodes' old tag-team partner Bulldog Brown).

Miller will be happy just to get out of wearing those hideous 3rd jerseys...

Your neighbor's sister-in-law, eh? She's practically family. Yeah, I'd trust her.

And if my math is correct, she's working about 63 hours a week. That's a bit more than a few hours. Your story is full of holes, buddy!
