07:37 AM ET 02.06 | Forgive Iowa State football coach Paul Rhoads for his being a little miffed even after landing his player. The Cyclones coach ripped two unnamed schools that continued recruiting star Urbandale, Iowa, wide receiver Allen Lazard after he verbally committed to Iowa State in December 2012. Rhoads didn't specifically name either of the schools, but it's pretty easy to read between the lines and determine that the culprits in Rhoads' mind were Notre Dame and Iowa. "He's (Lazard) not going to a school in Northern Indiana," Rhoads said. "Boy, they wasted a lot of time and money. He's not going to another school in this state who feverishly tried to call him about a half a dozen times in the last week." According to Rhoads, they weren't the only ones disappointed in Lazard's commitment to Iowa State.
