07:27 AM ET 02.07 | North of Manhattan on Thursday, Mike Woodson offered a candid assessment of both his team and himself. "This year has been, for me, it's been kind of a disaster from a coaching standpoint in trying to get players to compete and play at a high level," Woodson said in an interview on ESPN New York 98.7 FM's "The Stephen A. Smith and Ryan Ruocco Show." ... Some Knicks players privately have grown tired of Woodson questioning the team's effort after losses, sources told ESPNNewYork.com. Two league sources said some players expressed their frustration with Woodson to Knicks management after a loss to Brooklyn on Jan. 20. Woodson said Thursday that he remains focused on helping the Knicks make a playoff push in the final 33 games of the regular season.

You are correct. That was Isiah Thomas.

never gets too old

And the answer is....

Put out more effort so the coach doesn't have to question it after another loss. If the players think that it's only Woodson that knows they aren't putting out, they're delusional.

There's such thing as mutual parting. I think it's best to go separate ways. But I don't like the idea of Dolan asking Melo if Woodson needs to go.

It's a no win situation.
- Coach won't be happy knowing he's at the mercy of Melo
- If he's let got (which is the right thing) Melo will have to live being labeled a coach killer.

There's always something unpleasant brewing in the garden. But it's time to let Woody go.

Give Herb a chance or one of the assistants a chance. A fresh voice the team will unite around is necessary at this point.

Not meeting expectations will do that. (see Cavs)

They don't. They just let her live.

It's time for coach Woodson to go. There's very little to gain by keeping him around with all this dysfunction. Expect the Knicks to have a new coach next year. Maybe d'antoni will be available ?

The expectations of the Cavs is to hit high draft picks, and they have exceeded expectations each year.

Even Woodson is tired of Woodson

Time to trade Melo and get something in return. Make sure to attach JR w/ the Melo trade so that way you'll get rid of one other problem.
