09:00 AM ET 02.08 | During an appearance on CBS Sports Radio, host Doug Gottlieb presented a hypothetical the Falcons are 10-0, and they have yet to replace Tony Gonzalez at tight end. "Can I got back to the last couple of years when I used to say I'm 97-percent sure" Gonzalez said. "I'd probably take them up on that offer, especially if they're 10-0." Yes, he was laughing. But he could have laughed and said, "No. No. No. I'm done."

LOL the Falcons going 10-0, their hero coming back for a swan song. A child's fantasy.

February 8, 2014  09:09 AM ET

If they haven't replaced him, they aren't 10-0.

Misleading headline again. I didn't realize the New York Compost bought Peo Football Talk.

I'd like to see him play one last season, but on a team like Seattle or New England, where he has a legitimate chance of winning a ring.

I'm sorry but this Atlanta team has reached its ceiling. They need to make a few significant changes to get to the next level.

Hey, Tony, make up your mind. This "farewell tour" has gone on way too long. Why don't you just buy a SB ring?

February 8, 2014  01:06 PM ET

The squealing Tight End who thinks teams owe him something!! Time to call it a day!

Tony, Tony, Tony, dear boy do yourself a favor. Go to Green Bay if you want a shot at making the playoffs. They need a TE.

We'll GLADLY take him!! He ain't ever seeing 10-0 with Atlanta. Heck the way they've been going, even the playoffs are a stretch

He just threw his QB under the bus; he likely is not going back to the Falcons.

Bus? From what I read, he threw him under train loaded with coal cars.

Ha bet Tony wishes he didn't crush Seattles trade back in the day. Could've been his Bettis/Lewis/Elway moment.

I could see Seattle, but New England, its been ova for them suckers since spygate, not too mention the dismantling of them consecutively by Big Blue, the Mean Wreckin Crew........Brooklyn, the Kid that is, and I'm out!

Two losses by a combined 7 points is hardly a dismantling and the Giants are now just a shell of the team that beat the Patriots.

Sounds a little like the former QB whose name won't be spoken.
