Who cares?

What would be the point of going? He would just be a distraction for the rest of his team.

He realized he would be ignored by many, insulted by a few, and laughed at by the rest of the team, coaching staff, and management

A-Rod, no RSVP for spring training? Dude go home and watch your muscles start to shrink...

Why would he show up anyway? Technically he isn't on the Yankees this year. The ONLY smart thing he's done over the last 5-10 years has been to drop those lawsuits.

First off, I'm never a A-Rod fan, but a Yankeenatic, I am. Since when does first time offender get such a punishment, oh, let me think, Bonds, Clemens, Mcguire, Sosa, yeah I forgot them. But wait, they'er beening punished without any real absolute proof, only speculation, and they are being kept out of the Hall by some vendictive writers who knows jack and played jack. The world we live in today is GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY....... and of course, we usurp the whole judicial process and become opinionatd and exact duly punishment. You wipes.......shutty, the Kid, and I'm out!

And oh, by the way, why not wipe out an whole era while we're at it. I mean Championships, MVP's, etc. The point is.............WE CANNOT BE SELECTIVE IN THE PROCESS AND PUNISHMENT APPLICATION................clear enough for you suckers, the Kid, and I'm out!

Oh look. The jack of arse has returned.

February 9, 2014  08:27 AM ET

His witty dialog has been sorely missed around these parts.

I'm surprised he was granted an early release from prison. I heard it was almost a certainty they would not.
