10:22 AM ET 02.08 | Tim Leiweke likes Philadelphia Union CEO Nick Sakiewicz, his former employee. He respects him -- and expects his rebuilt Union to compete this season. It's why he doesn't take his recent remarks personally. Unfortunately for Philly, Leiweke's confident Michael Bradley will. In an interview with The Philly Soccer Page this week, Sakiewiz took a swipe at his former boss for dropping $90 million on a pair of players this off-season. Last month, the Reds signed Jermain Defoe and Bradley to multi-year, multi-million dollar deals the likes of which the league has never seen. "I get frustrated when I see people say how smart Toronto is spending $90 million," Sakiewicz told Philly Soccer Page.
