07:44 AM ET 02.10 | Including injury, this season has been far from expected for Stephen Weiss. On Saturday against the Lightning, Weiss missed his 26th consecutive game because of a sports hernia, but he's back at practice. "So far so good," Weiss said. "No major setbacks. That's all positive." Weiss signed a five-year deal for just less than $5 million per season. He has two goals and two assists in 26 games. "It's been a tough stretch the last while for me," Weiss said. ... He will begin skating with the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League on Tuesday, then the following week will play "a game or two" with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League. "I'm really looking forward to it," Weiss said of skating with the Whalers. "It should hopefully spark something."

Isn't he right down the road from you Roamer? Maybe you should head to Plymouth and give him a 'talk':)

Haven't seen hide or hair of him. Not that anybody misses him around here. I'm hoping he spends the rest of the season doing a "conditioning stint" in Grand Rapids. I'll even drive down there and cheer for him very loudly.

He could walk right by me with his sweater on and I wouldn't recognize him.

Anonymity has it's advantages. Wouldn't want anybody harassing the poor boy.
