05:46 PM ET 02.10 | Greg Monroe's name has been brought up a few times but the Pistons have seemingly gone out of their way to aggressively deny that he's available. Steve Kyler form Basketball Insiders states that not only are the Pistons turning away teams asking about Monroe, but he says the asking price for the big man is excessively high. The Pistons really don't want to trade Monroe and will have plenty of money in the offseason to make sure he comes back next season. A trade is unlikely but someone might overpay the Pistons to pry Monroe away.

What? An NBA team hanging on to talent? Wow!

Tey wouldn't have to do this trade had they not signed Smith to a ridiculous contract.
Now they have no choice but to move Monroe or Drummand.

Keep him next to Drummond...

Move. Monroe. Drummond has a better upside. The Pistons basically have 2 identical players. Get rid of one and try to get another position. Barnes for Monroe.
