06:20 PM ET 02.10 | The Cleveland Cavaliers are a disaster right now to say the least. Yes, they've planned relatively well since firing former general manager Chris Grant, but the collection of talent amassed simply isn't going to work. Knowing this, the Cavs have all but suggested they will be players come the NBA's trade deadline, but they will not be entertaining offers for Kyrie Irving. That's the buzz according to reports that say the Cavaliers aren't remotely interested in any deal involving the former Duke star.

Unless a good offer comes up......

February 10, 2014  07:03 PM ET

Is it just to piss him off?

Just like I said about the Knicks....this organization has lousy management.

Why not.

Cavaliers have no plans to trade Kyrie Irving..... just as Kyrie has no plans to pass the ball

February 10, 2014  10:14 PM ET

Given that the Cavs are light years from being competitive it makes a ton of sense to trade Irving if the right offer comes along. He'll be gone as soon as he hits free agency anyway.

Cavs strategy is to accumulate draft picks anyway, so might as well trade Kyrie. The Cavs owner LOVES the draft lottery day!!

February 11, 2014  01:21 AM ET

that's what they all say, if I was him I'd want to leave Cleveland

February 11, 2014  02:03 AM ET

I guess his talents are stuck in Cleveland.

February 11, 2014  08:21 AM ET

Irving wants to be a Knick.

February 11, 2014  08:53 AM ET

Kyrie looks as old as Tim Duncan in that photo.
And as a Cavs fan I wish he passed the ball half as well as Tim. Mick made a good point 'unless a good offer comes by' and if it does you should jump on it. I'm not talking about cap relief or aging veterans who might turn around our franchise. Kyrie is worth at least one top 5 draft pick to the rest of the NBA and teams starved for a PG (Milwakee! Knicks and Lakers) would probably offer it.

Take Your Talents Elsewhere, Bro.

If Varejao manages to stay healthy until the deadline he's finally history. The Cavs have been trying to get something for him for a couple of years now. Dude kept getting hurt. S'long, Andy. You're the heart and soul of this team.

If only by default of being there the longest. He hardly inspires his teammates to give 100% effort with all his flops and the lack of professionalism on the Cavs could definitely be derived from the example Varejo sets night in and night out.
He's a whiner (like most NBA players unfortunately) who has trouble against more physical opponents-or anybody with skill.
I'll be glad to see Anderson out the door finally. Should've kept J.J Hickson.

team full of college kids.... acting like teenagers... put Battier or a player like him on the team and watch the drama disappear

There is a contender out there that will see value in Andy for a stretch run.

You mean someone like Deng?

Big difference between "have no plans to trade" and "will not trade."

Nobody wants to play for the Crapaliers or the Brickabockers.
