02:25 PM ET 02.12 | In addition to making outrageous trades in his final days as general manager, Grant will be best remembered for drafting Anthony Bennett No. 1 overall in 2013, a move that signaled the beginning of the end for him and for the Cavs' 2013-14 season. According to Wojnarowski, had the Cavs not selected Anthony Bennett No. 1 overall, he likely would have fallen out of the top-10 and may have even dropped out of the lottery altogether. In fact, Bennett's camp was so convinced that he was not a top pick that they were calling teams at the back of the lottery to try and secure a landing spot.

QUIT PICKING ON THE CAVS

After last night, I wonder if that's still true? Even the Sacramento coach said they were beaten up by Bennett. Got 19 points and 10 rebounds. I think a lot of people are going to be eating crow by the end of the year.

You heard it here first........

Don't be surprised if the Cavs go on a nice little run in February and their fans start chirping.....

But, the Cavs will get smacked back to reality in March....

Although, I could be wrong about the first part

Bennett took it upon himself to prove the pundits right... Where was the logic???

the kid was dominant in college, he needs to refocus.....regardless of what you say he was not worth the number 1 pick....the Cavs needed someone to compliment thompson and irving.

Kid has been playing well lately now that he's getting minutes. I highly doubt he's a bust as people have been quick to proclaim. Kid is a beast waiting to explode. People are way to quick to judge I tell you.

Yeah.

He's finally in shape (after coming off of that shoulder surgery) and he is getting minutes. His confidence is building. Might as well let him continue to show what he can do and find out if he will truly be a building block or not.
