08:27 AM ET 02.15 | Kenny Zuckerman, Jonathan Martin's agent, will speak to the Dolphins in the coming days. "The Dolphins want to do what's in everyone's best interest, including Jonathan's," he told me an hour ago. "He told me on Wednesday that he will play for any team and anywhere. They have his rights." Zuckerman declined to say if he will ask for trade, but Stephen Ross already has said it's doubtful Martin returns to the team.

I'm sure he has plenty of teams already interested in him but I doubt any will give up much in a trade Martin was taken high in the 2nd round of the 2012 draft. Other teams can wait and let Miami decide which path they are going to take #1 trade for a lower round draft choice, or, #2 Release him.

A team will pick him up, then hire Dr. Phil to help him get in touch with his inner strength.

Send him to North Korea as a good will ambassador. He can hobnob it with the illustrious leader over there who really hates bullies. Be like Dennis Rodman. But, Martin would have to get a few tattoos first and, that might be too much for him.

If the Dolphins are really looking out for his best interest they will release him and let him try to hook on with another team.

Or perhaps get on with life outside of football. It is not for everyone. He has some millions guaranteed and a Stanford diploma. Not a bad start in life.
