08:44 AM ET 02.15 | Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is excited about bringing his team to London this autumn, as he backed the idea of a team being based in the UK in the future. The expansion of the NFL this side of the Atlantic continues to move on at pace, with this year three regular season games taking place at Wembley Stadium. 'America's team' will be one of the six showing up in the UK this year, as they play London regular Jacksonville Jaguars. Bringing over one of the biggest teams in the USA is a big boost for NFL in the UK, and owner Jerry Jones is delighted to be bringing his team over to play in front of their UK fans. "We were very anxious we got to play there," Jones told Sky Sports NFL. "We went there in 92/93 I think for a pre-season game, not a regular season game, at Wembley and I'm very excited about it."

Why can't he just worry about fixing his mess at home?

February 15, 2014  08:59 AM ET

The NFL is not set up for a team in London. With the exception of the 1:00 pm Sunday game, nobody would watch. Too late when people have to get up for work on Monday. The AFC/NFC Championships and the Super Bowl are also set up so the London is pretty much shut out.

Pointless dream JJ. BTW, the Cowboys are broken, you may wish to pay attention to that.

Goodell makes 44 million a year for taking home games away from US fans.

How about fixing that defense, fool.

February 15, 2014  09:27 AM ET

I just can't see how that's ever going to work. The NFL in EU is not going to happen.

Sell a Season ticket then move a game and get more money. Cha Ching.

You're sending two teams with a combined 12-20 record for the season. I guess you're going the "free tickets with a case of beer" route!

This might be the biggest argument against London I've seen yet.

If Jerry thinks it's a good idea... it's not.

What if he sold the Cowboys to a competent owner and then he could buy the franchise in London. It wouldn't happen, but I dream big.

Imagine a west coast team having to play a Sunday game in London and then a Thursday game. Come on. Some things just don't work, no matter how much money is involved. If frogs had wings, they wouldn't bump their **** so much.
