07:37 AM ET 02.17 | As of now, within weeks of spring practice opening, Oklahoma appears set to return its entire full-time football coaching staff -- for the first time since 2009. And based on defensive coordinator Mike Stoops' remarks on national signing day, that's a great thing for the Sooners. "This is the strongest staff we've had in a while," Stoops said. "These guys have done a great job. Everybody comes together. Everybody just helps one another, and that's been key to our success here in the last month. Just in the last year, we've changed the whole vibe of Oklahoma football." Over the past two offseasons, Sooners coach Bob Stoops has replaced five assistant coaches. ... [The coaches] Stoops hired to replace them have proved exemplary, both on the field and the recruiting trail.

....ou has indeed returned to being the best program in the country, and is only getting stronger....primarily on the backs of their coaching staff....... way better than anyone else...but when strong and texas take root.....ou will have competition for that honor....until then, i expect ou to run the table upcoming year....

Yes its about time, the new vibes out on the market these days work exceptionally well.

I can't wait until UTK travels to Norman this year...

Who am I kidding, it's going to be awful for the Orange.

Besides Texas, Baylor beat 'em 41-12.

It won't be a blow out VFH. Don't let the Bama game fool you. The land thieves were not as good as they traditionally are....ergo neither was Bama. Stoops worked miracles this year with injuries, less talent and some off field issues.

Have you seen Tennessee play anytime in the last 4 years? They're terrible. A solid high school team could beat them.

Then the UF-UTk game should be a good one this season. And by good, I mean evenly-balanced.

I thought they only played girls basketball on ol' Rocky Top.

Gotta admit they've been bad lately...but they aren't that far from being good again.

Have you been to the LUS School of Sandbaggin' and Bellyachin'?

Actually, I've heard that Norman may be lacking atmosphere and amenities, but the folks are hospitable, genuine, and effusive. Given how good-natured, gullible, and generous the traveling Big Orange faithful are, they may not have an awful time in Norman.

If you step outside, and listen closely, you'll hear the roar of laughter coming from Tallahassee.

One game doesn't change everything. Yes they played a great game and the QB played lights out
but they are gonnna have to prove it all again starting September.

True words for all of our teams. It's one of the great things about CFB. New faces, new opportunities each season. Spring ball starts at some schools that are seasonally challenged this month. I for one can hardly wait.

They don't even do that well anymore.
