07:04 AM ET 02.18 | USC quarterback Max Wittek, apparently, was open to an excellent first impression. [Wittek] told Orangebloods.com on Monday, while at the Austin airport, his visit to Texas "exceeded" his expectations. Wittek said he wants to go back to California and talk things over with his family before making any final decisions. While Wittek said he wouldn't even say he's leaning toward Texas, he said he wasn't sure what his plans were for taking visits to Louisville, Hawaii or TCU (other schools he has listed as being under consideration). "Everything about my trip (to Texas) was awesome," Wittek said. ... "From the time I got to Austin on Saturday, Coach (Shawn) Watson and I were talking ball," Wittek said. "A lot of the concepts they are talking about, I ran at Mater Dei (high school). So I already feel comfortable."

I had that question answered two months ago. UF had to keep Muss there one more season so the OC @ UA could use the 2014 season to get back up to SEC speed.

Saban isn't going anywhere anytime soon so the new OC will not hang around as the HCIW.

(now for a place to hide)
