06:58 AM ET 02.18 | So much for treading lightly this spring -- Terry Collins is bringing the hyperbole for his 6-foot-6 youngster with the 97-mph heat and wicked hook. [Collins] did not do much Monday to downplay the expectations heaped on top prospect Noah Syndergaard. "Let's face it -- great stuff," Collins said after Syndergaard tossed a bullpen session. ... "[It's human nature to try to impress everybody. And he did. He didn't need to, because it's going to count during the games. But he's certainly a very impressive kid and it's exciting to watch. When you hear the guys on the team who are big saying, 'My God, look at the size of this guy,' that's what's impressive." Said Syndergaard about his first official session of spring training: "It's kind of hard to settle down."

Who can ever forget, the trio of Bill Pulsipher, Jason Izringhausen, and The Dynamic Paul Wilson and let's not forget other Great Met Prospects, Lastings Millerge, Shawn Abner, Billy where you going to hit them Beane, and the list goes on, maybe, just maybe, with their scouting system, they should consider giving up the #2 and get a major league shortstop?

The pitching has a bright future. When you add in an 18 game winner last year, Gee and Niese, they are deep and talented. Add Harvey next year with more experience for the Wheeler and Syndergaard, it can be dominate. The Mets farm system was rated #6 overall so Sandy Alderson and his team is doing something right.

He'll settle down once MLB hitters begin chewing him up.

Not many Mets in this bunch ...but the #1 biggest bust goes to the Mets cross town rivals....
