Not sure what Detroit is getting in return, but I guaruntee that Denver gets the better end of this deal, long term. Not because Rogers isnt a great player, but because nothing Milen does ever works out.

Denver must just love Detriot, giving them Dre Bly last year, not Rogers.

The Lions have a weak defense, so logic dictates that they trade away their defensive players. That Matt Millen is a genius in his own mind.

Broncos going after a defensive lineman. Never that would be so not like them. They are like Tampa Bay and Gruden with QBs.

Hopefully we can get just as good of return from last years trade when we got Tatum Bell and George Foster for Dre Bly. Wow that really helped us out. If I was a fan of any other team and heard that they were talking with the Lions I would be very happy. We take the bad players and give away the good ones for low prices.

hey americas legend, i got to go see the boys play the lions this past year, and we DON'T want him in dallas. he is sadly fat and out of shape, and would hurt our defense, not help it.

Please take Rodgers but you also get Millen.

It doesn't appear that Rodgers will ever reach his potential in Detroit. With that said, a trade is probably a good idea. The down side to that is Millen will be pulling the trigger on the trade. Meaning the Lions will get absolutely nothing in return. Millen should never be allowed to sign a free agent, initiate a trade or go anywhere near the draft. For the love of sports, Fire Millen!

as a broncos fax i have to agree with TN_FAN... the offense became stale and the bates defensive experiment was painful to watch.

well i hope we get this guy and no better trade partner than detroit. maybe we can give them henry and walker for rogers and williams.. with millen you never know.
