04:34 PM ET 02.19 | The Charlotte Bobcats are winning for once, and this has them drooling over the idea of a postseason run. Like a junkie looking for a fix, the Bobcats are so desperate to win now that they're willing to do just about anything to get impact players. Chris Mannix from SI.com states that the Bobcats so badly want to acquire an impact player like Arron Afflalo that they're willing to absorb a bad contract to get a deal done. The Bobcats have been in talks to acquire Evan Turner but they're being mentioned more and more with the Orlando Magic guard. He's an impact player they could very much use, maybe even more than Turner, and they appear willing to do anything to get him.

"Like a junkie looking for a fix"...such an extreme metaphor, but interesting in a sense that a junkie's fix only fixes them short term. The long term problem is still there. Is that all the Bobcats want? One year of 1st rd playoffs at the sacrifice of future (if any) deep playoffs?
