09:45 AM ET 02.21 | Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett is heading into the final season of his contract and is looking to break the .500 barrier and make it into the playoffs. He might prefer to sign a contract with the Cowboys for some comfort and security, but he says that hasn't even been discussed with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. If the Cowboys fail to make the postseason yet again, you would have to imagine Garrett could finally be on the outs.

The train is wrecked, you might just as well get off the damned thing!

Don't count Jerrah out. Going 4 and 12 just might be just the thing that gets Jerrah Jones to sign a whooping multi-billion dollar extension for the red headed genius.

He's already lasted longer than he should have. RIDICULOUS!!

"comfort and security"... with JJ as GM; dream on...

Congratulations to your Canadian team. The better team won today.

He's more chances than anyone in the past decade outside of Jack Del Rio. Cut the cord.

Thanks 3M, the boys played on fire today. Lookin' forward to Sunday!!!

I honestly wish Garrett would go to another team and win a friggin championship just to show Jerry he wasn't the problem.

Does it really matter? Does Jerry even care if the team continues to wallow in mediocrity as long as the local yokels fill AT&T stadium during the season and pay 20 bucks a head to tour the place. Might as well be anyone. Chan. Phillips?

But they both are.

He doesn't clock manage well. His players seem to have either no sense of urgency or they panic (lack of focus). He seems like an offensive-minded version of Wade Phillips....out of his element and an example of the Peter Principle.

Lord knows I've seen bad head coaching with my heroes. He's a bad head coach.

Yeah... as much as I hate to say it.

Watch a game... You will see that the locals aren't packing the rafters. But the visitors are well represented.

The question Mr. Otis is does Jerry really care about improving the team and is just inept or does not care and is just greedy?

I'm not sure if it's that he doesn't care or doesn't know how to improve the team. He's been trying to improve the team since Jimmy left. Obviously the plan isn't working but he can't seem to realize the ONE change that needs to be made.

always plenty of good tickets available for the visitors.

Are they still getting a good tailgate showing? Those would be all locals unless Jerry has put a stop to that.

Ahh... therein lies the dilemma doesn't it?

I wish I could tell you he is interested in improving the team but after 17 years of "this" - I can't say that. He is damn sure interested in filling up the Death Star and if that means selling to the visiting fans then their money is green too.

As a Cowboys fan - I am not happy.
