Kirk Cousins wants to be a starter, not a backup

04:11 PM ET 02.24 | The Washington Redskins are in a pretty good position when it comes to their situation at quarterback, as they have two starting-caliber players on roster gunning for playing time. While Kirk Cousins has conceded the starting job to former No. 2 overall draft pick Robert Griffin III, that hasn't stopped him from showing a desire to be a starter. Cousins isn't kicking up dust in Washington over being the backup, but he's not being shy about his desire to spread his wings and fly to a team that would start him.

I'm not so sure.

When he got a chance to start (meaning he got the majority of reps in practice) he played well. I wouldn't trade more than a 3 for him, but it's worth looking into.

RGIII's not durable enough. He's another Randall Cunningham. His years will be limited.

I could chalk that up to the team mailing it in. Or having Kyle Shanahan as coordinator. But he should've looked better, true. Still, there's enough good tape on him to at least take a look.

That wasn't a cadaver. That was Rob Ford.
