07:29 AM ET 02.26 | Could Bucs corner Darrelle Revis be on the move again? Teams are exploring dealing for [Revis], according to league sources, with some believing there is a good chance he will be dealt by the start of the league year. During the combine, sources from several teams began reaching out to the Bucs about the possibility they might deal corner Darrelle Revis, and rival executives believe a deal could be possible. At this stage no one is making offers, and the Bucs haven't contacted other teams about the Pro Bowl player, and are not shopping him, but talks could certainly progress as we approach the start of the league year next month. Revis makes $16 million this season and counts $16M against the cap (that holds true for every season through 2018), and Tampa has several other tricky contracts to sort through.

So much is said about this p.o.s. for doing so little. REALLY? who cares??

February 26, 2014  08:07 AM ET

Probably easy to figure out who the prospective bidders are...

Who has $16M available?

February 26, 2014  08:19 AM ET

I know who I'd like to see him play for... We could use the help O.

February 26, 2014  08:43 AM ET

Back to the Jets!

I know, but it would be funny as hell and fun to speculate on.

Would not help. They have so many defensive holes and they don't have enough money or picks to come close to filling them.

Wouldn't hurt either. At this point anything is better than last years defense.

expect more of the same or worse. Once Ware gets cut who is on the d-line? Hatcher won't be back.

This is the kind of dribble I would expect from Fansided but it looks like CBS Sports wants to compete for the non-story award of the offseason.

So can we agree the Jets actually did a good job in not giving him all that $?

Yep. That is just plain stupid money for any player who does not play QB. It is a strange contract they gave him. $16 mil a year for six years but NONE of it guaranteed. No cap hit to them to trade him but the next team has to pay $16 million ever year or cut him. Odd.

Most of their stories are just a lot of hot air.

Gotta build through the draft. There are a couple of pieces on the D line. Kyle Wilbur and Darius Wynn showed a little promise but our secondary was record setting in futility.

Who is that? Definitely not Mike Glennon.

Tampa - Cleveland of the south.

Come to Foxboro, baby. A Revis/Talib CB combo would solve all of the Pat's defense issues in one fell swoop. After playing for the Jets and the Bucs, Revis would probably jump at the chance to play for the Pats and believe me, Belichick would know how to make the most of his skills.

They need pass rushers bad. Hoping if Ware is healthy and gets cut, which seems likely the Pats can sign him.

At $16 million a year it will never happen. Only way is for him to get cut but then he is a free agent and goes to the next high bidder. He ain't going anywhere. they can't trade him and they don't want to pay him that much, but they boxed themselves in.

I figured it WAS FanSided when I got to the part where they basically say "We made this all up in our heads because we're bored and we have no real insights". I glanced down at the CBS tag and was kind of surprised.
