There is speculation of Dolphins interest in Cowboys left tackle Flozell Adams, 32, who will have numerous suitors. Pittsburgh's Alan Faneca has been linked to Miami -- and Parcells likes him -- but an associate expects big offers from teams in a win-now mode.

I hope Flozell goes to Miami. If they got Adams and Faneca, the Dolphins would be pretty decent protecting the QB but for how long? Two or three years at the most.

February 27, 2008  06:34 AM ET

Either would help, they need all the they can get.

February 27, 2008  06:53 AM ET

If you looked back at the 2007 Dolphins they allowed 42 sacks. Which is not good. Before Ronnie Brown got hurt the Dolphins were running the ball better than anyone. The only issue that the Dolphins had was being able to pass protect at the end of games for the final drives to win. They played many close games but couldn't pull them out due to poor QB play and bad o-line play, which go hand in hand.

Flo reunited with Parcells and Sparano? That's something. Of course they need to fill holes. They let go a tenth of their roster.

February 27, 2008  08:25 AM ET

Oh here we go. Let's play strip the Cowboys. Jesus Parcells, take your freakin' blinders off will you. There's 31 other teams.

February 27, 2008  08:26 AM ET

Hooah!05,
The False Start Adams needs to go, He is 33, a penalty machine, and will get over paid. Miami can have him.

February 27, 2008  08:31 AM ET

America's Legend sure studies his football, and I'm not being sarcastic.

February 27, 2008  08:36 AM ET

I know man. That is why I am glad I still get to play......Although tackling a 6-5 300lb running back in the open field isn't too much fun. It was effective though at times, getting 3-5 yds most of the time. The Funny thing was they put him at QB in the scrimmage and he did pretty good but it did remind me of Giant backup QB Jared Lorenzon. He got sacked about 5 times......the 3-3-5 is a fun Defense.

February 27, 2008  09:06 AM ET

Go Fins. They will be back.

February 27, 2008  10:30 AM ET

True, Parcells is raiding the Cowboys. True, that Adams WILL be largely overpaid if he goes to the Fins.... BUT at least they're looking in the right direction as far as rebuilding the team. You gotta start with those lines. Which is why Jake Long or Chris Long makes all the sense in the world for this team at this moment. (My preference being Monsieur Wolverine Jake Long)

February 27, 2008  10:58 AM ET

i would like to get somebody younger then this guy

February 27, 2008  11:14 AM ET

So, now they are getting Jake Long with the #1 overall pick???

February 27, 2008  11:23 AM ET

If Flozell frees up cap space to bring in better defensive backs and a younger speed receiver, then let him go - we can find someone to play LT for less money.

And for Bill Parcells "raiding" the Cowboys - go ahead. The Dolphins will still at best be a 5-11 team next year. He can take all the coaches he wants but if he doesn't find someone to throw the ball to receivers, they won't score points.

February 27, 2008  11:46 AM ET

FLozell is a toss up. Money situation and penalty situation say get rid of him. Size and ability say keep him. He won't take a discount either.. even if loves dallas. face it--- he's gone. but don't think jerry won't bring someone else in.

February 27, 2008  01:04 PM ET

The Cowboys have drafted a couple of replacements for Flozell the last couple of years. I would rather see them get a shot than overpay a 33 year old tackle. I'd love him to stay at a reasonable price. Then again, this is Flozell's last contract so you can't blame him for trying to make the most of it.

February 27, 2008  02:37 PM ET

I agree with C-Smith who's gonna throw the ball and to who Ted Ginn, Chambers is no longer there and neither is Marty Booker. Flo maybe has 3 years left, let him go if he wants to much money. The experts say that the draft is full of quality OL men or put your previous OL draft picks to work.

February 27, 2008  02:49 PM ET

I was on the fence regarding letting Flozell go until I considered all the possibilities with room under the cap! With two 1st rounds and a decent free agent market who knows what we can end up with! We do have replacements ready to go who has the potential to be as good! I say let him go and wait for the windfall to come in! As for Parcells continuous raping of our team, no matter how he tries he will not be able to duplicate the Texas franchise in Miami!

February 27, 2008  03:25 PM ET

False start Flozell kills at least one drive per game. Yeah, he's big, but he's not worth a tone of money.

February 27, 2008  04:16 PM ET

Draft Jake Long. That would be an upgrade.

February 27, 2008  04:27 PM ET

Cowboys suck no matter what.... I hope Parcells takes everyone down to the waterboy......."thats some quality H2O"
