07:29 AM ET 02.27 | On the same day he had the best night of his season on the court, Rajon Rondo wound up talking about not traveling with the team over the weekend. The four time All-Star has heard the talk and speculation as to what happened that weekend, but says, "nobody knows the story. You [media] guys keep making up every story you guys possibly can." When asked what is the story, Rondo added, "It's my business. It's my choice." ... When asked whether he thought Rondo should have stayed with the team, [coach Brad Steven] replied, "I think the biggest thing right now is for me to move forward and for us to move forward with that. I think that obviously it's something that is a great question to ask and something I have certainly spent a lot of time thinking about. But at the end of the day, I've passed that point."

Lottery teams don't deserve four time all stars. Rondo's doing his best to get shipped out of town. Just like Bynum did to get out of Cleveland... lottery teams are hellish to be on for players that play with pride... cut the tape and let him lose.

Old news. If the team is okay w/ it than it's not a problem.

He's already losing plenty. No need to cut any tape.

unless he was getting treatment-
IMO it was a bad thing as he still is a menber of the team

maybe he could''ve been on the bench and HELPED whomever was in the game with some advice

bad precedence

The media is making this out to be a bigger deal than it really is. Par for the course in Boston.

I miss the guy who loved to play and only wanted to help out the team and never put himself above his teammates....those were the good ole' days.

I don't think that "getting treatment" means what you think it means, but I'm sure that he knows what it means....prolly two blocks off Hollywood and Vine
