01:51 PM ET 02.28 | Mike Pouncey is a Pro Bowl center who was playing his way into a long-term deal with the Miami Dolphins over the first four years of his career. But then Pouncey was named in the Ted Wells Report and bullied his way into seeing the fifth year of his rookie contract picked up. According to The Miami Herald, Pouncey is still playing on his rookie contract, even though he's about to be playing in his fifth season. Rather than extend Pouncey and reward him with a new contract, the Dolphins are going to just pick up his fifth-year option.

Too bad the XFL folded, he and Richie would have been perfect.

Wearing that stupid 'Free Hernandez' hat probably didn't do much for him either.

If Michael Vick and Ray Lewis got second chances in the NFL, there is no reason why Pouncey should not get a second chance as well.

I'm sure he will. He's young and talented, never been convicted of anything other than hurting a teammates feelings....

Fine, someone else will keep him working...

Sure, but both of those guys had to wait. This still isn't even done yet, not by a long shot.

The difference is Lewis and Vick were issues outside of the game and team. Pouncey and Incognito's issues were in the locker room. Pouncey will play for years, somewhere. Incognito will not, he will make your six o'clock news and it will not be pretty.

I'm just waiting for the day when Richie takes that Ferrari of his for a joy ride over the edge of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.

From yesterday's news.

"The Dolphins are committed to Mike Pouncey. Dolphins general manager Dennis Hickey told WMEN's Orlando Alzugaray Thursday that he has spoken with Pouncey in the past month and "is excited about the future."

Quite a contrast from today's. Somebody's a moron! Too close to call who!

Maybe Green Bay should give him a shot, Evan Dietrich Smith may not be the starting center for the Pack next season....

The locker room is not exempt from labor law. Yeah, I read MMQB today, and it's a great article.

But the problem is when someone complains, not the act. There is no violation until someone complains. When they do, and it's proven, look out! Trust me, I've been an investigating officer in my work place. I actually found where backing up a secretary in her closet and not letting her out until she gave a kiss was looked upon as funny. She did not. I recommended termination of employment.

Then again, a similar situation happened and the two got married. Fine by me.

The thing is, the environment must be reciprocal to both parties. If not, f the violators

Bring him to Pittsburgh where his brother can watch out for him.
