Ty Law, who has been told by the Chiefs he's going to be released, doesn't sound adverse to returning to the Patriots. The former Pats cornerback, while attending last night's Celtics game at TD Banknorth Garden, spoke about his strong feelings for his original pro team. "Hey, you know what? My heart was always with the Patriots."

what trade?
he's being released.
I'd like to see him retire in NE.
and with Asante gone, he would be a good addition for any of the younger players we pick up

We? KP owns the Patriots. Kraft is just a front.

Compare the "we" above and on other positive articles with the "the Pats" and "Them" that crops up when someone is arrested or they lose or do something REALLY stupid. Check the most recent pot bust of the Pats player a few articles back as one example.

I wish I could combine the posts of one nut who was a Colts fan every year when they were unstoppable. And then picked up the Patriots. I pointed it out and he/she just vanished.

I wonder if he/she is a Giants' fan somewhere.

All you gotta do is win!

Gotta be fair to kp et al --

I am not saying that these guys (with a few exceptions) are not REAL fans but I notice that some are not and actually desert the teams when they fail and find new winners.

Also, notice the shortage of Fins' and Jets' fans. Some articles do not draw even one!

God bless 'em and they do exist but they are not too numerous on these sites.

Isn't Ty Law like 100 or something?

February 28, 2008  08:58 AM ET

His heart is where the $$ is. Overpaid....Overaged

February 28, 2008  08:59 AM ET

Ty Law would be a smart move for the pats for the right dollar amount. Bill can always get just the right amout of play from veteran players look at otis smith, Roman Phifer just to name a few. The pats could use the help in the secendary that is for sure

February 28, 2008  09:07 AM ET

He's made some money and wants to be with a perennial winner (again)...

February 28, 2008  09:25 AM ET

lol if he loved the patriots so much why didnt he stay there the first time, he shouldnt have been so greedy and just stayed where he wanted to be this whole time.

February 28, 2008  09:51 AM ET

Like you would turn down an opportunity to double your salary...

February 28, 2008  10:25 AM ET

The question is: Can the Pats feed Ty's family?

I always have several teams I follow with interest in any given season. And the Pats over the last 8 or so years have been one of those.

But I am still and will always be first and foremost a Cowboys fan.

It's just that when your team is in it's "yang" period (as opposed to yin) and they either do not make the playoffs or exit early from them, and you still have other games to watch it is hard not to pull for another team, even if it's only because you dislike their opponent more.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend, etc.

I agree. There were hordes of vociferous Colts fans on this site until week eight. Then they just faded away as the season went on. Perhaps consequently, the number of spout-mouthed Patriots fans increased. Of course, success always brings out the braggarts, and this is true for any tea. Cowboys fans were loud for the first six or ten weeks of the season. Such is the way of the sports fan.

No, Mickey I am old school and dumb!

I just know by people I know and teams! He was a pat in the 1990's and good.

Later, I know he was with Buffalo. Then The Saints or somebody.
