A little birdie says Peter Forsberg considered the Wild out of respect for incoming Wild owner Craig Leipold, his former owner at Nashville, before signing the other day with Colorado. But Minnesota never was at the top of his list.

Ha ha, he was to hurt to play for the Wild, but Colorado came and he was just feeling good enough. That's ok, Simon to the rescue : )

February 28, 2008  12:18 PM ET

The Avs are in the 8th position now. Thanks to Burnaby Joe.Be very afraid Detroit.

February 28, 2008  12:25 PM ET

February 28, 2008  12:28 PM ET

The Avs are back. Super Joe is ready to bring the Avs another playoff run. I just hope Peter stays healthy, if so, I think they really have a good shot at the cup.

Did anyone notice that this website is now getting its compelling stories about Forsberg from "Little Birdies" Wow ! I hope Forsberg breaks his foot on his first shift so we can all have something to talk about at next years trade deadline.

February 28, 2008  05:11 PM ET

This just Forsberg in....Forsberg thought about not making the comment about thinking of joining Minnesota

February 28, 2008  05:18 PM ET

Afraid of Hasek and Cheli?Hahhahahahahahaha.......thanks for the laugh there wingsfan.

February 28, 2008  05:23 PM ET

Hasek flops around on the ice like a fish out of water, all you have to do is get him to drop and shoot the puck high. Easy goal. Lidstrom is getting slow and fragile. No we are not scared, just eager to see you in the playoffs! GO AVS!!!

February 28, 2008  05:25 PM ET

and you want me to be afraid of the av's bostongm? i think we'll take our chances!

February 28, 2008  05:28 PM ET

Wingsfan, go ahead and take the Avs for granted and think you can cruise by them and see what happens. You can have the Presidents Trophy as your wings deserve it this year, but I don't see them getting the Cup.
