Chattahoochee (Ga.) coach Terry Crowder believes his junior quarterback, Brendan Cross, has the tools to play that position on the next level. "I think the word is out right now on him," Crowder said. "From Texas A&M to Stanford to Central Florida to Wake Forest to Georgia, everybody wants to come in and evaluate him." The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Cross' 4.6 speed in the 40 is just one reason he is catching the eyes of recruiters.

Is that 4.6 hand timed or electronically?

Oh goody ... the next Terrelle Pryor ... how long will this kid drag his decision out?

Young man, you want to play for Georgia!

GO 'DAWGS!

Georgia Tech. Paul Johnson needs a QB for that offense. 4.6 is fast enough to be an option QB.

I think GA Tech or UGA would behis first choices, but GA Tech will need to show they are on the upswing this season if they want to get this kid.

Chattahoochee High School had a pretty good program when I played. Well, they had a good freshman squad :) Big mystery as to why they never developed into a Parkview or Brookwood.

How about Michigan. Can this kid execute the spread?

March 3, 2008  07:30 PM ET
