OU's best player injures knee
Oklahoma freshman forward Blake Griffin is expected to miss the final two games of the regular season after undergoing arthroscopic knee surgery Sunday morning. Griffin, the Sooners' leading scorer and rebounder, injured the knee with 15:15 remaining in the first half of Saturday's 64-37 home victory over Texas A&M. The surgery revealed a partially torn medial meniscus. The school announced that Griffin is expected to return for the postseason. The Big 12 Tournament begins March 13 in Kansas City.
