Looking at the photo makes me think that the guy was born with a concussion. Is that possible??How do you test a guy like that to see if he has one??

I like Trent Green a lot, but I think it is time for him to hang it up. Reminds me of when Chris Miller wanted to come back after like 12 concussions.....

Trent would certainly be an upgrade over current Rams backup Brock Berlin.

March 4, 2008  10:46 AM ET

Say it aint so! Hang em up before your brain dead. Become a QB coach instead.

March 4, 2008  11:06 AM ET

The question is will he remember his visit with either team?

March 4, 2008  11:47 AM ET

Trent would not be an upgrade over anyone. He has problems with finishing a season, I would take Brock Berlin over him anyday of the week and that says alot

Trent Green is an underachieving, injury-prone, pretty-boy. Let the NFL Network have him for broadcast analysis. Although, if he gets another concussion, I don't think he'll be able to speak in complete sentences....

I think the NFL Network is a bad idea. One over-reaction from a flailing Deion, and Trent might end up with a first, of probably many, off-field concussion. I think one more hit, and he might end up wearing a helmet permanently (and not a football one, but more like the one that short bus riders wear).

No.

Rams don't take a mentally-unable Quarterback.

No.

March 4, 2008  07:08 PM ET

He needs to retire.

March 4, 2008  09:16 PM ET

It;s time for him to retire and move on

March 4, 2008  09:49 PM ET

As a long time Ram fan and looking at the picture??? Nope, it just ain't right

every quarterback has had one or more bad seasons, i say give him a chance and see if he still have love and drive for the game. i don't think it's justup to Trent Green to protect himself but it's also the job of the DEFENSE to protect the quarterback tat's what they are getting paid for i thought. everybody need to stop hating on Trent and if he feels he still can contribute positively in the game, LET HIM TRY.

Trent:
There's a home and perhaps a roster spot for you here in Tampa...schedule a visit...I want to talk to you!

Green needs a better o-line to compete. Judging from Bulger's sack totals last year, ST Louis isn't it. However, any o-line is better than the Fins.
