Columbus Carver linebacker Jarvis Jones has already collected scholarship offers from Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Illinois, Miami and Texas. But it's unlikely the 6-foot-4, 215-pound junior will commit prior to the summer. Former Carver teammate DeRon Furr recently enrolled at Auburn and will be on the Tigers' roster this fall. Carver's Jarmon Fortson signed a letter of intent with Florida State last month.

Please go to Georgia. They have a good coach and a strong nucleus of young players. Be part of something new & good. Although I am a die hard USC fan, I live in Atlanta and have a lot of DAWG friends, it is a good program.

Auburn only signed one LB last year and we will have several leave next year to graduation or to the pros. He would immediately be in the rotation.

Keep it in the state man. I didn't think Carver got much recognition, but now I see they do. Athens is the way to go man, you could be the key to us winning that SEC Championship. The ACC is slackin' now, so make yourself a DAWG; Dogg!
