Spurrier suspends cornerback

South Carolina cornerback Carlos Thomas has been suspended indefinitely for violating team rules and "team behavior" expectations, Gamecocks coach Steve Spurrier announced Tuesday. Spurrier disciplined Thomas for being loud and boisterous and using profanities in the presence of an athletic administrator in the team's dining hall, according to sources. This is not the first time Thomas has been in Spurrier's doghouse. The native of College Park, Ga., was suspended for the first half against S.C. State last year after picking up a pair of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties on the first defensive series in a loss at Georgia.

That's my "ole ball Coach!" The program needs discipline and to be cleaned up given its recent years of athlete stupidity! Spurrier is doing the right thing to build a respectable program, my caps off to him for not compromising for the sake of wins!

go **** now lets win some games . I think maybe the old ball coach is just that, OLD you cant do what you did in the 80s and 90s and think you can win.WE need DBs and a running game.
