It was only in February that right wing Nathan Horton was unhappy with Florida and reportedly wanted out. His agent, Paul Krapelka, was said to be searching for teams that might extend an offer sheet this summer that the Panthers would be unwilling to match. But when he made an appearance at a team function last week, Horton brought with him a fresh outlook and a maturity that has often been lacking.

Who the hell cares about Horton? What has he done exactly? I mean, Florida shot themselves in the foot when they traded Luongo for Bertuzzi and now this talentless clown is making headlines??? Come on Florida, the only person in the world who cares about your hockey team is George Bush!!!

Slow day at the newsdesk of the Palm Beach Post. Hopefully SI.com will use a little more common sense in choosing what stories they deem newsworthy from now on.

Nobody actually watches Florida Panthers hockey, so no one knows or cares about Horton.

Hey Pops - there are a lot of us in Florida that aren't transplanted yankees still carrying torches for their childhood teams. admittedly, it's hard to be a Cats fan on many occassions. They make stupid trades, starting with the Barnes for Wells trade. We have a solid fan-base. And for the record - he was a 30-30 player last season - ranked 13th in the league as a RW.
